You know the feels when certain foods remind you of particular places you've visited?
In fact, I was in Gaziantep for even less than 24h (arrived at 3am straight from my modelling contract in Athens and had to leave at 2am for the next flight).
After a whole day of shooting (from 8am till 9pm), with the team we decided to go for a goodbye dinner where I had an opportunity to try thee bessst hummus in my entire life.
Since then, I took sooo many attempts to recreate it.
And I'm glad to say that (I think) I've finally managed to do that. :D
– 1tin chickpeas
– 2 tbsp tahini
– 6 tbsp olive oil
– 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
– 2 tsp cumin
– himalayan salt & pepper
Soak the chickpeas in a hot water for about 5 minutes
Strain the chickpeas
Blend all ingredients together. (Add a little bit of hot water if needed)
Serve heated (!) and with bassssil.
