This chocolate banana bread recipe is perfect as a snack during the day at work, uni or really wherever You are.
It's also super healthy (great source of omega 3 fatty acids), delicious and easy to make.

Aaand it takes only 30 minutes to prepare (20 min in the oven). I often make it right before I head off to uni!

– 1,5 cups oats
– 1 tbsp flax seed
– 1 tbsp chia seed
– 3 ripe bananas
– 1 cup dates (soaked)
– 0,5 cup almond milk
– 1 tsp cocoa powder
– 1 block of vegan dark choc (optional)
– 1 tsp baking powder
– 2 eggs (optional)
– 2 tbsp almond butter (optional)

Soak dates in a hot water for about 5 minutes

Blend flax and chia seed first (that increases the absorption of omega 3 fatty acids), then add oats, cocoa powder, baking powder and blend everything together.

Place blended ingredients into the bowl.

Blend bananas and dates (with the date water)

Stir all the ingredients together

Add crushed bar of chocolate

Add eggs at the very end and stir everything together (optional)

Bake for about 20 minutes in 220 degrees

At the end, I like to cover banana bread with a thick layer of almond butter, for additional energy boost throughout the day!
